It is really lovely, I have stayed there overnight on 2 occasions, which is nice because after the day cruise has gone home the place really quietens down and you can relax on the beach, have a drink at the bar or whatever you like to do. The huts are basic but lovely, they come with an esky if you want to put any cold drinks in there, and a nice bed (no tv or anything like that), and you share an open air bathroom. Under each of the huts there are day beds which are nice to lay on and read etc - they are very relaxing.
Snorkeling is nice right out the front but you can also be taken further out if you wish.
When I stayed they put on a buffet which was lovely - there were only about 6 or 7 people staying at the time and so much food! They come to your hut and let you know when dinner is ready.
I am not sure about bargaining for rates, as when I stayed I booked it at the tour desk at my hotel and thought it was a reasonable price anyhow.
It is very relaxing, the staff are lovely and I say it is well worth it! I have recommended it to 2 friends in the past and they both agree!
