Tanah Lot lunch?

I know that most people visit Tanah Lot temple at sunset.
We would like to avoid the crowds.

Will the restaurants on the hill be open at lunch?
What time do the markets open?
What are the tips that you can give me to make sure that we do and see it all at Tanah Lot?
