Martin, we're going to stop at Ron's place this year, at the end of our Bali trip, after 4 nights in Kuta and 14 at Candidasa, be there 8 nights, Ron was booked out for the 6th and 7th June so we are staying at Gloria's, he sent photos and it looks very nice. He said if we liked it better there we could stay on instead of going to his place! Brother inlaw from UK decided he would join us and when he emailed Ron was lucky enough to get a cancellation, so he's there from the 5th June. He was laughing about Ron emailing him that he'd fill the fridge with beer and if he remembered he'd put a bed in the room.
We're all different we prefer Donald's to Bobbie's, we used to eat on the beach all the time but now our favourite waiter Akuris at the street Restaurant of an evening we tend to go there of an evening, though we miss the nice breeze. Maybe he will be back at the beach all the time this year. Not keen on Cat and the Fiddle for meals, might try some of your recommendations. Ate at the Bonsai many years ago. Certainly won't be trying the bike riding though, would probably fall off and break my hip, and as I had a total hip replacement in Nov that wouldn't be good. I haven't ridden a bike for about 37 years. We'll use the Bemo or taxis instead. Kay
