Hi we stayed at Xmas for 12 nights at the resort with a group of us and loved it. The cottage suites which is where I think you mention you are staying are lovely - ask for one of the newer ones. Its a 3 star property so not the PAdma but we loved it here. THe location is fantastic - good shopping close by and restaurants. We enjoyed breakfast every morning from the cafe watching the waves rolling in - breakfast food ok. The resort itself is affordable to enjoy lunch and drinks at the pool bar without blowing the budget - in fact our bar / lunch bill was less for our 12 nights there than our 4 nights at The Dynasty - we have 3 teenager boys!! All 18 of our group enjoyed our stay here - in a variety of either cottage suites or deluxe rooms. The standard room are not good though - do not have a balcony. All rooms cleaned each day and linen clean. Has a good feel to the place. But dont expect 4 star. As a family we are going back again in July!!
