I agree, Vicki. When there, I run from Penestanan along Tjampuan Ridge most mornings. Last time, I saw a deer with gorgeous antlers, grazing near where the houses begin at the top. Then hilarious attempts followed to communicate this to the balinese lass back at Gerebig Bungalows: eventually, she realised what I was describing (kajang?).
