Depending on where you want to go in Sumartra you may be able to get some cheap flights (bookable and payable online) on Air Asia-- Denpassar to jakarta and then Jakarta to Padang-- or Medan maybe one other spot....you would have to check schedules and leave plenty of time between flights as they don't interline bags.
