We have stayed twice in the past and are returning in November. Its been a few years since the last visit and I expect it to be pretty tired...with the same flooding shower. We had interconnecting rooms with our 2 children lots of space. It is nothing special but nice cold air conditioning, good beds, loved our ground floor patio. Nice bed and I agree push the singles together...The location is brilliant, I have also stayed in the centre of Kuta and it felt really crowded. Jayakarta has the openess and beach view. The grounds are better maintained than the buildings. There are so many restaurants nearby if you don't like the breakfast, much more fun to venture out and have a bannana milkshake else where. Pools are good, sometimes hard to get a lounge - depends on what time of year you are there. School holidays are always busy. If you are expecting 4 to 5 stars its not for you. But if you want a great location and good facilities you like it. From what I was told on the last visit stay away from the apartments unless you can get a privately owned one. People were trying to transfer out into the hotel.
