Hi Samgraham, I was lucky enough to spend last Christmas in Bali, and it was so good we have booked again for this year. All the shops and restaurants get invovled with Christmas and there are some fantastic christmas decorations. Just be careful when booking accommodation as some places will have a compulsory Christmas dinners and compulsory New Years Eve dinners which in my mind are a rip off. We were staying in a villa in Seminyak so we could choose where to eat. Most restaurants celebrate Christmas on 24th (more like Europe). We had the most wonderful dinner at SIP in Seminyak - very traditional French Christmas, amazing Christmas carols and decorations. Cannot recommend highly enough. Our villa was decorated with glass Christmas balls hanging outside in the frangipani trees. I get excited just thinking about this coming Christmas again in Bali.
