if you can,do some research on here and find out the relevent prices that people normally are paying for items you may be interested in.
Carry an easy reckoner for currency conversions.
Start low and let them work up. Generally 1/4 to 1/2 what you expect to pay.(i actually try to go up in 2000 or 5000 increments.)
Number one rule is ,if you agree on a price,do not walk away as this is an insult to the seller and frowned upon.Also not polite!
