we spent a week here in 2007 and December just gone I had a look at a few rooms with my sister for an upcoming trip. I have to say the rooms aren't so wonderful, all the rooms I have seen are quite worn and smelt damp and dusty.
But it is in a wonderful position the pools are stunning, even better than the photos, the gardens are lush and the staff delightful.
So not been easily put off, when we stayed there I just spent a couple of hours dusting and covered the bathroom in detol and hot water ended up with two very clean, fresh rooms and had a fantastic stay.
I would stay there again, the rest of the hotel made up for the rooms, just don't expect flash rooms. We didn't have to pay for the sun beds on the beach and didn't find the beach sellers a hassle.
