When we booked the hotel, on a friend's recommendation, we didn't realise how popular it was. Being involved in the forum has shown. We usually stay in small places or villas where this pool business isn't an issue. A friend recently returned - they left the Dynasty, a hotel equally popular, after 3 days because it was awful around the pool.
I would imagine the one hour rule will be a little difficult to monitor.
Everyone else, thanks for your comments, we really have some thinking to do now, but if we do choose to cancel, someone will be rubbing their hands with glee.
