last year flew syd/melb/bali with jet*. Flew Qf flt to melb same as you with little time between flights. Assured on several occasions by JQ that all was ok, that plenty of time and bags checked thru and checked straight thru from syd!!!! LIES!!! The syd/melbflt left 20mins late, after finding out not checked straight thru had to push thru decent people like a mad woman with dtr while son & his mate were stuck back of plane, QF refused to move us fwd in plane to allow easy departure. Got to melb and had to literally run the entire way thru domestic to International deps. Got to JQ counter to be told they had just shut flight. I lost it totally and demanded it be re-opened quoting the names of the JQ persons who advised me all would be ok. Also told checkin that there were at least 6 others on way over to chq in with same issue. Long & short of it was that they re-opened flt and out us all on, and then delayed it 40mins!! I got on the plane a wreck and P.O. that this was the start to my holiday! (at least it was great once in Bali) So warning, change your flight to a couple of hours earlier if you can because it will happen again!
