get a room away from the mosque (hope thats how you spell it). When you check in look at the map. We had this advise, and we were lucky we had a upgrade to club suite overlooking the pond. we went for a walk one night and the mosque was a bit noisey, wouldnt have bothered me that much, but if you want quiet, maybe. You can hear the planes briefly fly over, but I sorted that with earplugs, so again not a big issue for me. The patra is a fantastic resort. the brekky I loved, but the restaurants, the one and only meal I had was horrible. so we didnt eat there again. but I'd definately stay again. Clean, beautiful bathrooms, lovely staff. Enjoy :)
