Bali Deli in Seminyak has a playground. Details are on their website BalideliDOTnet. Details are under the section "Bali Deli Bali" then "Community Park".

Also I think the Ramayana Hotel in Kuta had a tiny one that we saw from the rear verandah of the Stadium Cafe (same owners I believe so you would have easy access). Perhaps email the Ramayana to check if is still there.

The Melasti Beach Resort in Legian has a small play area; not much in the way of equipment but more than enough grass for a two year old and a ball etc. This is easily visable from the restaurant and access to the beach/road is limited by a gate here. I can't vouch for the food but you could maybe have a cold drink or two if up that way.

Every Sunday the Ku De Ta has a "child friendly" breakfast time. Lots of kids there.

For accomodation in Lovina - Rambutan Cottages has a playground. You can see details on their website under "Facilities". I havn't stayed there but it looks very child friendly.

Good luck with your research.
