is full on for mixed marriages in both places. However easier for you than say a man marrying a Balinese if you want to live in Indonesia. You are able to become a resident as Indonesian culture and law requires you to follow your husband.

If you want to live in aus then inform the Aus consul ASP and let them know your plans. Your husband will be grilled and it will be hard for him to get a resident visa initially. If he has assets in Bali then let them know. Keep letter and emails of any communication between you both, as this helps prove you are in a long relationship.

Your marriage is recognized in Indonesia if you married in aus but if you want to marry here in Indonesia then you need to become a Hindu, or your husband needs to change to your religion. Not many Balinese families would agree to their boys changing religion and they would most likely want you to change.
