We stayed at the Aston in Tanjung last year in an Ocean view room on the top floor. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Breakfast is great and has a huge variety to choose from. The hotel is located right on the beach and has a beautiful pool area. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and a good selection if you turn right and walk past Villa Bintang resort. We travelled with 4 teenagers and the good range of water sports kept them amused. For shopping we still tended to head to Kuta but if you are looking for somewhere a little bit away from the hustle and bustle would definately recommend.
