I have recieved quotes from travel agents then done my own research
it always ends up cheaper to book accommodation & flights myself.
Email the hotels direct usually get a cheaper price then going through wholesalers but check out all options.Usually only need to pay 1 nights deposit to hold accommodation, pay the balance on arrival or departure.
Flights can be booked direct online (cheapest way) & depends on when you are travelling you may be able to pick up specials.
