You have a problem cos Garuda cancel and Jetstar don't care. Sort of understandable. I have Jetstar flights I can't use because Jetstar took over an existing connecting route and changed the schedule so my onward connecting Jetstar flights now don't work. They are unsympathetic.
I have pushed them as far as I can but you may be able to get a refund if you show them evidence that Garuda have cancelled (even though they know it!). One person at the call centre told me that If I had written evidence of the changes then they could do something. Get on to them!
