The airlines at the moment are in a win/ win situation. They get your money but it is ultimately up to them as to when you will get a seat. All very good if the timing is not an issue, but people in this situation would be in a minority. Some will be forced to forfeit their fare!
Garuda are not alone. All the other airlines have cancelled flights recently, stuffing up their customers too. I'll be suprised if we have seen the end of this. At least you got your Garuda fare back - Air Paradise were not that generous.
I agree that all these changes areis choppAs for Jetstar, if you cannot get a credit, can you sell the tickets?
