I wonder how many of us comply with the Indonesian law regarding carrying I.D. at all times, I certainly don't. From Australian Govt. Smart Traveller site "Under Indonesian law, you must carry identification (an Australian passport, Kartu Ijin Tinggal Sementara (KITAS) or Residents Stay Permit) at all times".
Anyone had problems not carrying it?
