From what I was told at Kong's (a big importer & distributor of S E Asian products) the importation all satay blocks from Bali is now banned - sure, there will be shops which still have stock and these are apparently safe. (Wish I could find one).
No way would I be trying to sneak in possibly contaminated blocks until they are given the safety clearance.
