If you want nice, cheap, Indonesian food, then Warung Pojok on the bypass is lovely. Very basic, need to write down what you want, but the 6 of us ate for just over Rp100,000 including drinks!!!
Stiff Chilli is the best - lovely steak, cheap and well prepared. Right on the beachfront.
Taman Agung Hotel, near Hardy's, has a restaurant. Nice food, again very reasonably priced.
