Hi Guys just letting everyone know that the cost of using these cards in Bali has gone through the roof!. Last July we used them for our trip, and we used cash, the exchange reat for the cards was good. I went to organise to put some money into the card for this year and was told ( and yes i double checked)the new fees were $3.75 per transaction PLUS 5.95% fee on all withdrwal, so every 200 aus nearly $16 bucks in fees.
I contacted my Credit union who said our debit card would incur no fees and only a 2% fee from Visa, so will be using that and cash. Just thought this info might helkp someone.
