A couple of years ago I decided to join my sisters that had already bought a package. The price their TA quoted me was not a good deal as far as I was concerned, so I took advantage of a sale fare. I then booked my third of the room through their TA so as not to confuse things. Because I didn't book a package, I did not get the room discount they did. Some things you just have to suck up.
