Thanks for the clarification. I honestly cant believe that anyone would travel without travel insurance. If you cant afford travel insurance then you cant afford to travel. It is most unfortunate that there seemed to be communication problems with regards to the ambulance. My deepest sympathy goes out to all those affected by this poor man's passing. I think the message here needs to be clear to all - especially those that are young and new to travelling...dont leave home without your travel insurance.
