I usually bring home with me some packets of Bumbu Sate Paste with no problems. And before anyone spouts something along the lines, why would you b other you can buy it here so cheaply - I am aware of this fact but I live in country WA where it is NOT readily available and rarely get to Perth, hence it is easier to bring in from Bali.
Anyway, this time it was taken from me. Apparently there was a 'crackdown' on rules about 6 weeks ago - they will no longer allow food items into Australia if they do not have the ingrediants listed in Englsh. If they are listed in English and only state 'spices' this is also not sufficient.
