This would be a great spot to view sunset (often been there myself) and is an easy stroll down Jl. Padma. You can enter from Beach walkway or perhaps take them through the Padma Hotel's grounds first.
Then, of course, if you want to "rough-it with the Forumites" and really give them a "touch of culture" there is always S&S lol.
