Tuban which is basically Kuta. It depends on your budget. There is a really good website called "Asia Rooms" which shows you accommodation by area in Bali and gives a really good overview of the hotel, location, facilities and some photos. It also has reviews by people who have stayed there which is good to know.
The other way is to get a Bali brochure from a travel agent and get a few that look like they might meet your requirements and then ask on the forum for peoples advice on specific hotels.
