Hi there, we have timeshare at the Shangrila and absolutely love the place! There is great snorkeling right on the beach at the Shangrila but other good places to go are White Sands beach and Padang Bay. Have a chat with Graham at the dive shop as he will also provide great suggestions for where to snorkel and how to get there. The water palaces are lovely but we generally just get a driver to take us to all these places for a very reasonable price. Make sure you go to Vincents for a meal - our favourite restaurant in the world! And say hi to the lovey people at the Shangrila for us. You'll love it!
