and it seems that we are fine. Like a few people mentioned, as long as we arrive before the 6 months left of the passports are up we ok. We have printed off the Indonesian Consulate information page which we we will with us to avoid any problems with 'you pay and we will let you in' type attitude. Chances are we will organise VIP VOA anyway, so that will help too. Thanks for all of your input. Hopefully this has answered the question for others too.
