Bale Tunjung is a large room with a very effective air-conditioner plus a fan, a mini fridge, 2 very large comfortable single beds, and a very efficient shower. It is located on the right hand side of the ground floor in a block of 4 units, with a small patio at the front of it overlooking a small fish pond.
To get to the swimming pool, which is located in the adjacent Tegal Sari complex, you have a short walk alongside the paddyfields at the back of the complex, then down a pathway past a small restaurant and pond area, which in turn, leads to the pool area. The "infinity" pool overlooks the rice paddies, was very quiet, and it is a gorgeous setting.
You can also access the pool from the front part of both hotels - but that might not be such a "good look" in your bathers transversing the street footpath between the 2 complexes..
My friend and I only visited the pool during daylight hours, so am not able to advise you what the lighting situation is like at night.
For the reasonable price per night of the Bale Tunjung, which included breakfast, and the 8am-10pm availability of the shuttle service, we thought that Greenfield Bungalows was a "winner"!
We also had an in-room therapeutic massage which was excellent, and no complaints about the room service meal.We would both certainly stay there again.
