Myself and 3 other girlfriends stayed at the Masi in late jan this year. 3 aussie girls, age 26-42, all great friends that have been going to bali for years.
We love the Masa for location, location, location! The cost is also a BONUS. The rooms are basic, but clean. The brekkie was fine for us. Great eating joints close as(too many to mention), loved heading to swell(50 metres away) at night to hang with loads of surfie dudes, enjoying fantastic food and movies every night! They do fab brekkie, yum! The Masa had heaps of europeans, and americans, i think we were the only aussie when we were there! Good fun!
The beach is close, 3 min walk, and of course macca's which is great at 3am after partying!
The clubs are all walking distance, we usually walked to them, but would grab a taxi bike home! loads of fun racing...
Ill be back at the Masa in late June, & staying next door as well at the La Walon. I've also stayed at Secret Garden which is close too, 50 metres.
I must mention ive stayed a the Barong bout 8 years ago, its good too, but i like poppies lane 1 better!
