Rooms at BGH

Has anyone recently stayed at the BGH,there seems to be mixed reactions to the rooms .
I am taking my sister's family ,they have never been before ,so I am hoping we will get refurnish one ,we have requested but sometimes you don't get what you want.
Heading on the 23th May .Can't wait
