The breakfasts are expensive but the food is good. I love their omlettes and the choice of hot foods is changed daily. It really depends on how much you want to eatand what you want to eat for breakfast. I couldn't try half of what they had but ate there for convenience as I really wasn't too well last trip. I think the TA's charge around $13AUD for breakfast and the Griya is one of the few hotels that does not include breakfast in the room price. I have had breakfast, on previous trips, at Warung Kumi Sama. Turn left out of the Griya and a short walk along the beach path. Quite popular and cheap. You will find that most guests, especially the Europeans, have breakfast at the hotel as do families. Each to his own. From memory I think it works out cheaper to pay when you are there. At least then you see the buffet and decide each day what you prefer. Cheers, Stormy ps I wish I was there now, could really go an omelette. The omelette chef has been there for years as does get to know the guests.
