We have stayed there about five times now and have provided these details every time. No problems. I take the precaution of sending details in two different emails from two different email addresses on consecutive days, and each contains half of the required information.
They don't even use the details provided unless they really do need to - e.g. if someone does not arrive, front up with payment due for late cancellation. TS prefers you pay at the counter with a credit card you have with you, or in rupiah. Activating a payment via the credit card details you have provided (without an actual card in hand) is a lot harder for them, requiring communicating with their bank etc. Discovered that when we used my husband's credit card to book, but then I was the one making payment on check-out, and did not have his card with me. Used my own card instead, and all fine.
Very impressed yet again with their service - their staff are fantastic and the premises and grounds are so beautifully maintained. They even noted that I love their banana pancakes for breakfast and as a surprise gave me on departure a copy of the recipe all typed out.
There is a pathway being developed from the new villa end of the property that comes out on Monkey Forest Road..yayy!
