We booked online with the Bali Garden Hotel last year and they wanted copys of passport and credit cardback and front.I sent them an emails stating that I was not prepared to give anyone copys of these things but more than happy to give the numbers that are needed for normal internet transactions. That was fine and did not have any problems at all. cheers Link
