I bring all australian cash, then I seperate it into envelopes with each day written on the front. Extra for activities. I only exchange $50 at a time, works with my brain better!! then I have a misc envelope, for extra shopping, cocktails etc. I always come home with cash and heaps of stuff, works for me. I keep my money in the in-room safe. Or you can get a safe at the hotel. I usually allow $100 - $150 a day p/p. hope that helps
