We always use Search Alert padlocks which use combination locks, not keys, have a little green dot that turns red if tampered with airport security has master keys. We have used them in Bali, USA, France, Greece, England, Egypt, Dubai Thailand and have never had a problem. We got ours online from USA online at

but they are now available in Australia at many travel stores. Have a look at the online site then check around locally.
