My wife and myself booked for one night in the top room at the Ramayana on route to Europe last August. The drain smell in the room made me dry reach and we complained to Management. After trying out the smell in 4 other rooms they were just as bad and we said we wouldn't stay there and went to another hotel. I think renovations were causing the sewers to leak.vThe Ramayana is in a great location and have the best bloody marys in the world! We have eaten at the Ramayana many times in the past years but couldn't put up with the smell. Shame.
