Well I got a taxi from the airport to sanur, I just walked out of the gate and hailed one down and went to sanur for 50,000 when those rip off merchants at the airport wanted 95,000. I was going to stay at Febris but when I saw the price had almost doubled in six months with no improvements in service or rooms I decided against that. First time I have stayed in SANUR, although quieter it is far cheaper for everything including food and booze. I cannot believe almost all the hotels are in USD$ and are charging as much as Aussie hotels, this is quite ridiculous when staff are only getting 3 or 4 bucks a day. Disgusting really, one thinks they may price themselves out of the market.
