It's actually a quite comfortable way of cleaning your behind after dropping a big one, and where something is left behind on your "cheeks". Just spray gentle (don't give the thing a full blast as the water will come up again between your legs in the front) from the bottom of your back between your "cheeks" and wipe whatever is wet with the available toiletpaper of the tissue you brought along. It saves huges amount of paper, and therefore no potential risk for blocked sewerpipes.
