Are you looking for Indo, modern, Belgian, etc. etc , up market, budget? many good choices in Ubud. One of my favourites is Cafe des Artistes in Jl Bisma, excellent venue, service and Belgian food as well as some Indo choices. Great tuna steaks and fillet steaks. Good food and a large beer or glass of local wine about 80,000. Tropicale Bale for something more special. Two course "tasting" menu lunch with complimentary starter, sorbet between courses, bread basket and drinking water on the table for 90,000 ++ (++ is 20%). They have a web site. Try Nomads near the market, good Indo "tapas" and mains of indo influenced western food (beef shasliks, tuna steak, etc.) with great service, mains 35,000 to 65,000. Or Cafe Wayan in Monkey Forest Rd. for quite good indo in a superb garden setting.
That is just scraping the surface!

Regards,
David
