I stayed there in 97 too! I know it would be very basic, my memory may have slipped in 12yrs too but I don't remember us having a problem with the place (did drink alot that trip however, lol).
Am after somewhere where the food & drinks are cheaper at hotel and we like that end of town. Don't mind basic as long as it's clean.
