We have stayed here about 10 times now and will be back in July/August period and the main reason is its location.
Some of the rooms have been renovated but their prices have gone up compared to others which are quite tired looking but we stay in bungalows which are quite good and not much dearer then the rooms.
Plenty of space around the pool and enough louges so you don't have to "secure one early". The hotel is conveniently positioned so you don't have to wander far for shopping, dining and drinking.
Breakfast is good with the usual 2 eggs any style, bacon, toast, 2 types of cereal, pancakes, fruit, pastries, a daily selection of Indonesian food and coffee/tea, milk and juices.
