for the fourth time. I guess it's all about location. The rooms are ok, nothing flash but everything works. The pools huge and always sparkling clean and if you want to swim at night you never get even a sideways look. The staff are friendly. I didn't have breakfasts this time as i had my son with me and full buffet would have been a waste on him but in past years the breakfasts have been great. The best thing is the position. You have the beach and the beach bars right in front. The guys at Sam's bar are great. You can have beers and soft drinks ice cold and cheap not having to pay the resort prices. They'll run a tab for you all day. You never get questioned taking the drinks back to the pool. The art markets are 50 metres away and there are warungs there that sell sates (10 + rice) for 15,000 and nasi goreng for 10,000. Cheap lunches that taste great. If you pull up a chair at Sam's they'll order the food for you and the warung will bring it to you. In short, hotels a good place to sleep, swin and eat breakfast and in ripper position with great things close by. Hope that helps.
