Turned out to be one of the cheapest holidays we have had for quite some time.

After visiting Thailand late last year i have to say that i found Bali "very cheap"!

We were getting Between 7700and 7900 RP for the $Au and prices on the street for food and goods had not changed in over a year.

9 nights hotel, airport transfers,VOA,scooter hire, departure tax, food and entertainment, flights with Virgin Pacific (super specials $750 Perth return for 2 all inc))Duty free both sides Total cost $1900-$ 200 odd

I think I would struggle to get a holiday in Australia for that much in a caravan site!

I admit that we are not quite into the finer things in life due to many years of backpacking but I consider a holiday in Bali to be very cheap if you do it smart and stay in 2-3 star hotels and eat/drink in cheaper resuraunts. They can be a lot more fun too.

Even though we cant get the flights as cheap as Feb we are in the prosses of booking for August.

Do it smart,Bali is as cheap as chips.
