I only got sick for two days and after a few norits and immodium i feel better and good,almost 90%.Our stay in Kumala comes too quick but memorable.We did most food stuff here and majority of our money exchange were done in this area,in werkudara ,the one opposite the school.Always in the upper bracket of the rates.While in kumala,my 20 yr. old niece join us for the 2nd week of our holiday.We did a couple of trips around ubud and the countryside,visit some temple and etc.
We move to kartika plaza for our last4 days,We thought this time we only have to relax and do some shopping and lie on the massive pool of kartika.The kids got bored and want some action,so we rung wayan the driver,to organize a trip for water rafting.Wayan had a very good discounnt at Lapama water rafting and it helps.Three of us went and we had a lot of fun although the steps of 300 down and 200 up is not very appealing.We went back that afternoon,under a glorious sun.Well,the kids still have energy left on them and want to do bungy jumping.So off we go and as they two prepared to jump up the tower,i was sh...t..ng myself why I let them do it.Mom cannot watch the proceeding and It was terrifying watching the cousins 45 mtrs up high ready to jump.whewww..thats done..
Thwe next day,the the cousins decided to explore kuta.Took a taxi to the middle of legian and walk their way towards the hotel,no maps,no phone.Along the the way they met action jackson and mel gibson,not the actor but the shop keeper.Usually arrive at the hotel before dinner to our relief.They did this 2 days in a row and each time always have something to tell,hilarious stories and mostly positive,ooh kids,and they bargain hard for their purchases as well.We really had a good laugh with their stories.
Over all I think Bali is so safe and easy going.The highlights are meeting the locals,the hotel staff and all around friendliness of the people both local and tourist.
This trip is supposedly as a way let go with my son,if he will be up to it and ready for the next stage of his life.He will start university next week and will be doing mainly his own stuff and mother is a bit worried.
But for me,After the water rafting with a 4 mtr drop,bungy jump from 45 mtrs high.negotiating the chaos of bali road,the motorbikes,the sellers,and the fact that he came out trump in all of this,I think my son is ready for the big time...
So to all of you who contribute on this forum ,we thank you all for all the guidance you all gave.we had a really memorable holiday.

Note;
Finding kesuma was a challenge but worth it.
Zanzibar is soo good.
tommys have the best ice coffee in town
Lastly,Bali is the only place I know that you have to check both sides of the road when crossing on a one way street.

terima kasih everyone
