I stayed at the homestay within the palace grounds.
In the late afternoon local school children come to practice martial arts and swim in the pools. It's lovely.
The restaurant food was nice but there's also good little restaurants just outside the palace grounds.
There's plenty of workers within the palace grounds who can take you for short or long treks around the district.
