Virgin them selves were most helpful. They said based on the flights which were $519.14 minus a $60 change fee would result in $414 credit would can be transfered to mum mum, meaning she would only have to pat $$377.86 for her return flights to bali and staying with me at our accomodation.........im happy. Just means she can pay back my boyfriend the $414 which he would of had in credit so he dosnt loose out completely.

Pays to ring the direct flight people as Flight centre only said that my options were to post pone with him or he would have to cancel and get a little something back from the accomodation!!!!
We did get insurance and they said if we had to cancel for ANY REASON we would get our money back by paying the $100 insurance they reccomended. Today they said its only for illnesds and this was not my case.
Still interested in any info of other people who has had similar situation.
I will now book through the direct flights like Virgin etc and accomodation sepeartely infuture....Flight centre said mum could fly by paying $791 for flight only. DO YOUR RESEARCH people as when it comes down to it, its our hard earn savings that get us to our holidays and my travel agent didnt tell me the infor that VIRGIN themselves told me.......its all about money for them!!!
