Honestly, it seems to me you have too mmany moves from hotel to hotel. Remember, each move entails packing everything up, losing stuff,and wasting a lot of time travelling. I really don't think your kids will thank you for this.
As well as gaining an insight into the 'cultural Bali', it is a holiday after all, and you musn't forget to leave time for laying around doing nothing.
You can go to many events and places in a day trip from somewhere central like Sanur, so maybe consider that.
(Lovina is not a day trip though.)
So, what about;
Villa near Ulawatu = 5 nights
Nusa Lembongan = at least 2 nights minimum
Sanur = 5 nights
Lovina = 1 night
Tuban = balance of stay.
Waaaay less packing up and travelling, less fuss booking and checking in/out when there are better things to do.
So, with the kids I guess you are after 2 rooms all the way?
We are doing almost the same thing, arriving 25th.
A couple of places we are staying may be of interest to you depending on your style and budget;
Sanur - Bintang Pools & Bungalows 170 000 room/night no brekky
N/L - Pondok Baruna 130 000 room/night no brekky.
Also, you may wish to consider Flashbacks & Mainski.
You can get a dose of culture not just from where you are staying but from what you do/where you eat etc.
However, it is nice to return to decent lodgings, pool & telly for the kids at the end of the day. Makes for a nice trip for everyone. I suppose it also depends on whether you have 'playstation' kids, or 'outdoor' kids.
P.S. They will need time to adjust on arrival.
